Only one mailbox per domain name can have this feature activated and in this way you’ll never miss emails because the other party has an out-of-date email address or has made a typo. The drawback of using a catch-all mailbox is that you may begin receiving plenty of unsolicited messages, but this problem can be solved by using an anti-spam filtering solution. It is also vital to know that a mailbox with an enabled catch-all functionality cannot forward inbound email messages to a third-party address.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Website Hosting

In case you host a domain name on our cloud hosting platform and you have a shared website hosting account, you’ll be able to activate the catch-all feature for any email mailbox that you create under the domain name. The Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section includes quite a lot of functions, but it is extremely user-friendly, so creating a catch-all mailbox requires only one single click. All the email addresses that you have set up will be listed in this section in alphabetical order and you’ll only have to click the "Catch-all" button for the particular email address. Our system will alert you if there’s already another catch-all mailbox enabled for that domain or if the one that you would like to be a catch-all mailbox has email forwarding activated, so you can either deactivate the latter feature or choose some other mailbox. Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

The catch-all feature can be activated with ease in case you’ve got a semi-dedicated server account with us. All the email addresses that you have created using the domain names hosted in the semi-dedicated account will be listed in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel and you will find a small-size icon handily located directly next to each one of them. With just one single mouse click, you can enable or disable the catch-all option for any mailbox of your desire on the condition that there isn't another mailbox under that same domain with this option already enabled and there isn't activated email forwarding. Instead, you can right-click on a mailbox and enable this feature using the menu that will appear. In case any of the preconditions for setting up a catch-all mailbox is not answered, our system will notify you, but will not disable or replace anything automatically.
